    Thanks! I chose public diplomacy. I chose consular the first few times I did it, but after my husband got in (he's consular-coned) I thought it would be good to choose something different.

    Good idea, it makes it a lot less of a problem getting assigned together later in your FS career, avoiding anti-nepotism pitfalls and all.
